A perfect start to a Girlfriends weekend

Check into the Hotel Indigo and have a drink at the rooftop terrace and take it all in.

A quiet serene place in the daytime that turns into a hotspot in the evening.
with a beautiful backdrop of the City lights.

Okay, it’s time to hit the first tour.

The Tenement Museum is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

The Tenement Museum of 97 Orchard Street. Built on Manhattan’s Lower East Side in 1863, this tenement apartment building was home to nearly 7000 working class immigrants.
They faced challenges we understand today: making a new life, working for a better future, starting a family with limited means.

In recognizing the importance of this seemingly ordinary building, the Tenement Museum has re-imagined the role that museums can play in our lives.

There are several really fun tours available of the building, walking tours and walking food tours. Several options for building tours, $25.00, walking and food tours $45.00
